The conference was attended by around 2000 rural women representing all regions and cultures of Pakistan, officials of the Government of Pakistan and members of diplomatic missions in Islamabad. It featured theatre plays and cultural performances. The two-day conference brought together rural women from over 100 districts of Pakistan who got the opportunity to meet and speak with their government in the Capital, Islamabad. This was an opportunity for rural women to network with civil society organizations from diverse areas. The conference also allowed rural women to display their art and culture and explore opportunities for their small businesses.
