The PODA Lahore team concluded a very successful training session of Nikah Khwan and Nikah Registrar at Wazirabad on 30th November 2023. 28 Nikah Khwan, UC secretaries, and media took part in the training. Adv. Touqeer Abbas was the trainer for the session. The question and answer session was very interesting with questions about supportive documents for age determination, marriage certificate, validation of marriage, legal importance of Nikah forms etc.

Ms. Ayesha Tasleem, PODA-Pakistan Board Member concluded the ceremony by reiteration of the demand that the age of the couple should be at least 18 years, supported by the presence of CNIC. She also distributed the certificates of participation in the end.
