Rawalpindi, September 19, 2024: The PODA-Pakistan Islamabad team conducted an awareness session on sexual and reproductive health rights at the Basic Samarzar School Girl Campus, Adiala Road, Rawalpindi. It was a groundbreaking session which helped the girl students to remove their fears and talk about periods normally. The comprehensive session on reproductive health, menstrual hygiene, and nutrition sparked thoughtful questions:

–         When to consult a doctor?

–         Managing period pain?

–         Pad-changing frequency?

Addressing myths attached with periods, PODA team and school management collaborated to provide essential information, emphasizing nutritional needs.

The school management termed the session highly valuable and recommended to conduct more sessions on the relevant topics.
