District Sahiwal, Tehsil Chicha Watni, Village 31/11L: 21 Sep 2023: Under the project Reduce Early Marriages to Enhance Gender Equality, an awareness session on menstrual hygiene and nutrition was conducted in the Government Girls High School 31/11L, Tehsil Chicha Watni attended by 50 students. A health club to promote hygiene practices and health habits was also established in the school. The session was on menstrual hygiene and nutrition while urging the community to strengthen voices against girl-child marriages. PODA Rural Woman Leader from Sahiwal facilitated these activities in tehsil Chicha Watni.
