PODA Pakistan, in collaboration with WaterAid Pakistan, organized a consultation meeting with women-led organizations working at the grassroots level to discuss the challenges women face in accessing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). The meeting focused on how climate change is making these challenges worse and whether existing policies are effective. Women shared their experiences and highlighted gaps in WASH policies, especially in rural areas. Together, they put forward practical recommendations to improve policies and ensure better access to safe water and sanitation. They emphasized the need for stronger infrastructure, clear guidelines, and more resources to support women and communities. This effort supports gender equality, climate resilience, and healthier communities. Stronger policies mean a better future for everyone!
