PODA with the support of The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Islamabad organized a consultation meeting with District Bar Association in Lahore today. The meeting saw a significant number of lawyers advocating for the minimum age of marriage for girls in Punjab to be raised to eighteen years. PODA’s Jugni Theatre group also presented a short play advocating girls’ right to education and reducing early marriages.
