PODA’s “Reducing Early Marriages” team recently conducted a highly productive advocacy meeting in Khanewal, bringing together influential stakeholders committed to making a change. Participants included representatives from the police, social welfare department, population/health/education department, district bar association, local government, and media personnel. They actively participated in the meeting and provided suggestions on how to efficiently reach a wider audience. They also pledged to disseminate this information further and raise their voices to put an end to early marriages.
