PODA’s Lahore team with the support of The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Islamabad conducted meetings with District Social Welfare Officer, Superintendent Education Department, Chief Executive Health Officer, and District Population Officer in District Narowal. The meetings were aimed to raise awareness among the community about the socio-economic and health issues linked with Early Marriages and put emphasis on getting education for a more inclusive and equal opportunity society. The authorities showed full support for PODA’s initiative, promising to actively raise awareness about this critical issue and work towards creating a positive impact in the community.
