PODA in collaboration with Olive Culture Italy has empowered a group of 30 Rural Women that how to make Pickle, Soap and Cosmetic using Olive and Olive Oil as key ingredient. In this context the first training was conducted by PODA Master Artisans Ms. Maryam Fatima, Ms. Amna Arshad, Ms. Memona Seher and Ms. Bushra Ibrar for 25 students of University of Chakwal (UOC) on 13th and 14th May, 2024. The training was hosted by Vice Chancellor Mr. Muhammad Bilal Hashim, Head of Sociology Department of University of Chakwal. The university students were delighted to learn a practical skill and beautification value of olive and olive oil. Most students have never used olive oil as part of their daily food but after the training many students are willing to consume olive oil in their daily diet.
