(December 16 2023) PODA Pakistan Lahore team under the project Reducing Early Marriages to Enhance Gender Equality (REMs) organized a speech competition at Government Girls school in Faisalabad.  Girls delivered impassioned speeches on Human Rights,Girl’s education,Prevention of Violence against Women, Importance of Sports in life and Health and Nutrition. Trophies were awarded to the toppers in appreciation of their excellent articulation. Ms. Ayesha Tasleem, PODA-Pakistan Board Member graced the occasion as well, motivating the young lot with the accounts from her journey. School girls were inspired to persevere in the face of adversity which left a lasting impression. Over 42 students including teachers attended the event. Operational in 41 districts of Punjab, the project actively engages in creating a safer and fairer environment for young girls.
