PODA organized 11th annual conference on International Day of Rural Women

PODA organized 11^th annual conference on International Day of Rural Women on 15^th and 16^th October, 2018 in Lok Virsa Islamabad. The conference was attended by over 2500 rural women from 106 districts of Pakistan. The theme of the 2018 conference was “Making Democracy Real for Rural Women and Girls of Pakistan: Setting a Joint Agenda for Empowerment and Progress”. The key objectives of the conference were to facilitate bilateral communication to bridge the gap between parliamentarians and rural women in order to make democracy responsive to rural women and girls’ needs.
