MRV Visit and Data Registration in Alipur Seydan

Focusing on women’s active and increased participation in the coming local government and general elections, PODA Team mobilized the rural communities in UC & Village Alipur Seydan, Tehseel Bhera, and District Sargodha for the MRV’s visit in the community on 6th August 2021. “Rural communities need regular visits of MRV’s to meet ensure their basic civil documentation,” said a community member during the MRV visit on the occasion.

PODA Team organized an awareness and educational session on the importance of Right to Vote – a constitutional rights of all Pakistani citizens 18-years old or above – in village Purana Kot (پرانا کوٹ) of District Jhelum in which around 20 young women participated. The session was organised on Saturday 31st July 2021.

On the importance of CNIC and Right to Vote – a constitutional right of all Pakistani citizens of 18-years old and above – PODA team organized an awareness raising session in UC 78, Dhoke Munshi (ڈھوک منشی), Rawalpindi on Saturday, 31st July. PODA has been working to strengthen women participation in the democratic processes since long.
