PODA’s Reduce Early Marriages Lahore Team with the support of The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Islamabad conducted a workshop on ”Reproductive Health Problems linked with Early Marriages” in District Kasur. Participants included representatives from Social Welfare Department, Health Department, Education and Literacy Department, National Commission of Human Development, Lawyers, and Civil Sector. Our team shared details of the project and the amendment we are trying to seek by raising the minimum age of marriage for girls from 16 to 18 years in Punjab. The participants showed full support for PODA’s initiative, promising to actively raise awareness about this critical issue and work towards creating a positive impact in the community.
